Cant see it happening regarding the Airbus 330's which was rulled out in the recent announcement about the order for 4 777 200 ers. BA do own some of their 737's the 436 (400) and the rest are lease hold .
Who knows what is going to be announced on 1st March ( if the announcement happens)
Their is even rumours going round that BA LGW getting 757's or 321's from LHR for the summer so you never know !!

Jubilee House, new rostering system (check-in, check-out, roster changes now automated - welcome to the 21st century) and now a switch from the BA flight planning system to Jeppensen!
As long as there isn't any announcement about why all these changes are necessary so immediately (ie this month) there will always be speculation.
Morale is at an all time low. The management think the pilots are bluffing on a Royal Flush...

Buses run very frequent but if you are late blame buses not being on time. Also , let you know bus drivers only pick up staff with ID's and no family members unless they have a valid ID !

Should anything be read into the fact that new A321 arrival G-TTIF is registered to British Airways at Heathrow as opposed to GB at the Beehive on the CAA website?
I thought that too........ but i've been told that it's because it is one of the a/c GB bought when 'piggy backing' a BA order a while ago.
I'm not too sure though, but i don't know which of the a/c GB have were part of a larger BA order.
Interestingly, if you look at the G-INFO section of the CAA site then most the GB a/c are 'chartered' and registered to the Beehive, some are 'owned' and registered to the Beehive, but the last one is 'owned' and regisitered to BA.
I wonder...... part of some bigger plan?
Also why have BA only committed to replacing 14 of the B737's at LGW? I know some are leased/owned etc... but if you're replacing the whole fleet as WW said then why only place a small order for replacements?

Conspiracies, conspiracies.
The new A321 delivery is part of the BMed/GB joint order under BA buying power, so BA is the initial acquiror of the aircraft.
On the CAA website, an aircraft is shown as "chartered" if it is leased as opposed to owned outright by the airline. If, for example, you look at Thomsonfly 757 G-BYAF, it shows up as "chartered" because it is actually owned by leasing company AWAS. It doesn't say anything about an impending merger of Thomsonfly with First Choice.
GB's fleet is mostly owned by leasing companies, hence why they come up as "chartered" on G-INFO:
Royal Bank of Scotland aviation finance own four of the A320s
Aviation Capital Group own three of the A320s
GB owns or has finance/mortgage leases on most of the A321s
From what I understand, BA have only allocated replacements for the leased 737-500/300s in the fleet of which there are coincidentally 14 aircraft. The BA-owned 737-436s (of which there are 19) will remain in service for some time. 19 + 14 = 33, which is the current number of short-haul aircraft that BA operate from Gatwick.

Not so much consripatorial but thanks for the clarification.
I thought that TTIE was the last of the BA orders and that TTIF/TTIG/TTIH etc were purely GB orders, but perhaps not.
I still don't understand why BA don't commit to the orders now (given the lead time in deliveries) for all the airbus' required to replace the whole LGW fleet. It will provide them with considerably more headaches having a 'mixed fleet' of 73's and 319's rather than one single fleet.

I'm not so sure that the GB/BMed purchases were through BA. Isn't that the reason they combined, to go direct? Pretty sure that IE was the final a/c bought through BA. I may well be wrong of course.
