Just noticed that there is now a Thursday flight to Cancun on behalf of Thomas Cook Holidays. These flights are planned to be with Monarch!!
So thats both MON and TOM to operate to Cancun for Summer 2008!
Looks like NCL is still on the UP!!!!

Do we think there will be anymore route annoucements in the very near future? What with the reduction in EZY a/c and the disappearance of FJE and the quieter winter schedule starting soon, NCL appears to be getting quieter! (oh apart from EK!).

The Jet2 mail flight is currently to STN but EMA will be added, think its been delayed though due to all the industrial action, so looks like end of Sept it will start now.
Oh and Luckylad, check in was aware of the Jet2 charter flight, mayvbe you should try looking a bit closer to home as to why there was no organisation.... could it be swissport at fault, as usual?!... the words chocolate and fireguard spring to mind

hi
2nd edition of the jmc summer 2008
haven't been able to check it on there website yet but they were both using the TOM flight when the 1st editions first came out.
Is there any XL crew that can confirm that the NCL base is to close in october and not reopen in may 2008??
I have also heard the rumours that BA are to pull the LHR route.
Think the airport are busy trying to get another airline on the route before BA go public.
If its true about XL then it will be great to see other airlines like cronus and european airlines coming back in to NCL.

Are cronus still going?
If BA pulls off the LHR I can see BMI dropping in and picknig it up, Althought I cant see it happening... just yet anyway.
Who else could operate it? Cant see JEt2 or Easyjet picking it up!!...

BA to LHR
Who else could afford the slots (and if they could, wouldn't they use them on something more profitable). My employers, at least, would be seriously miffed.

Yes Cronus airlines are still going.
I belive that they have around 14 A320 on order.
Think they may have 1 or 2 of them already.
Im guessing if a low cost carrier was to take the route over it would be JET2.
look at the way they took the gatwick over within around 48hrs of BA telling us that they were to pull the route.
Im hoping that BMI will take it over when they do pull out.
Rumours are going around that they are leaving DTV so maybe ready for a switch up the road to NCL.
Looks like KM have picked up some more of the XL flights for next summer.
TFS on a friday is now bookable shown as a W flights as XLA858/9v in at 17:05 out 18:35 thats the only flights with xl that i can find at the minute.

LOL!
LS...at LHR!
Firstly, they are a loco going into the package holiday market.
Secondly, getting slots at LHR is near impossible.
Thirdly, BMI would do it before any other airline.
I don't know why BA are cutting the services, IF this is true as the NE aswell and NW and Scotland can provide alot of connection traffic to the states, especially as NCL doesn't currently have a NYC route.
