Whoever placed the ad can't spell. They've spelt premises as "Premeses"

parking

All very nice if you live in the centre of Nottingham, Leicester or Derby...but as many of the airports passengers ( and staff) dont, getting to the airport by car is the only option!

I noticed when driving to the staff car park that there was a Norwegian 737-300 at EMA the other day parked up in front of the bmi hangars, and although this has disappeared there's now a 737-300 in bmibaby colours but with an American registration. Were they the same aircraft and is it a new one for baby?

How's the Excel/Air Malta programme going this year? I understand there is a huge improvement on previous years although the B737-400 currently used has suffered payload restictions at times although this is probably the times it has operated from BHX rather than EMA

The 737-400 which was being used to cover Excel/Air Malta went back to Istanbul yesterday and has now been replaced by a Travel Service of Czechoslovakia 737-800.This aircraft iscovering these flights for the next few days and these first couple of days of operation has been fully loaded and on time .Today(sat)it operated to ibiza this morning and this afternoon i believe it operated to Palma.

Travel Service of Czechoslovakia
I thought Czechoslovakia ceased to exist over 14 years ago!
Not surprisingly many still locate Prague, Budapest or Warsaw in Eastern Europe while the geographical center of the continent lies somewhere between Poland, Belarus and Lithuania...

The TVS B738 is still around operating for Air Malta/Excel although it should be replaced with an A320 soon

YL-LCC

Airline is LatCharter and the aircraft which is due to come to EMA is a former Air canada A320. Image of the latcharter scheme is here, no images of the aircrat coming to EMA so could be different. http://www.airfleets.net/show/?pic=69561

Derry to be axed

It looks like the the Ryanair flgihts to Derry are going to be axed soon, due to a very low load factor. Yesterday it was only 71+1 to Derry and 42+1 coming back. I wonder what route will replace it..........?

I must saw I was shocked to see such a high load factor on the EMA-INV route. Berlin is doing very well!

Is this just speculation on your part? Or have you heard it from some authority or another?

Well since I work for Ryanair im not actually allowed to say, you should keep an eye out on www.ryanair.com, however I do think it is very likely, read into that as you wish. But Ryanair will not fly routes with such low pax numbers.

Yes Belfast City is likely......

Still not sure about when the new a/c are coming, its just a case of waiting for Penny and MAG to say yes to building a new low cost terminal extension to the east of the control tower. MOL was over a few weeks ago and liked the airport, and wants to place upto 11 a/c
