The poor sods who should have been back yesterday on the already delayed Thursday SAN-GLA flight, GSM726, should have returned yesterday at 11:40 still hasn't got back yet. The Glasgow Airport web site doesn't even show a estimated time of arrival.

GLA- PMI 8 hours late yesterday , spoke to some very very pissed off people at GLA yesterday .

No way to run a business , how long till the snowploughs arrive ?

Seems they are still paying invoices to SRT from over a year ago !

caveat emptor

Seems that they remain in the proverbial St ! They presumably can't run the 165, when the 166/186 is currently showing a 10hr 15 min delay inbound YHM-EDI !
So looking forwards then unless an available aircraft sourced elsewhere you have a 757 in STN when it should presumably be in YHM to operate this evenings YHM-NCL-STN Surely this service is going to end in tears

Various broken aircraft all over the network at the moment don't seem to be helping things.

I think the leased in Icelandair lasted merely a manner of days before it conked out in YHM. I gather it's still there and thats what is causing some problems. The usual operational ineffectiveness GSM have long displayed isn't helping matters either.

I'm sure these things will eventually improve, but seriously treat these guys with the same regard as FlyBe at the moment. Far too many operational problems that won't be solved for some time until the whole operation can reach stability with new aircraft and sensible scheduling.

I am so sorry these routes are going down this road, I had hoped and still do, that it will all work out for GSM, so brave to attempt, but thinking dont run until you can walk.

Accordingly to cust services today, the last flight to Sanford on a 757 is to take place on the 24th May. From the 25th all Sanford flights to be operated by Neos 767 with 3 class layout. Or so I'm told.

Acording to OAG there will be no flights LPL-JFK/JFK/LPL on 05/28/07 (GSM 201/202).
How accurate are OAG ?

I know Amadeus still have the Liverpool/New York flight being into Newark.

Try Newark via OAG and see what comes up.

No flights EWR-LPL on OAG.
In fact OAG shows the flights (JFK-LPL/LPL-JFK) , but not on 05/28 & 05/31.
Also Orbitz does the same

Hi

Just home after a 10.5 hour delay from YHM to EDI. YHM is not an airport to be delayed in as the 1 bar & coffee shop close at 11.30pm. After that all there is, is vending machines with a lack of seating.
I honestly think GSM are biting off way more than they can chew, which is such a shame as the actual flight was great with plenty of freebies in Premium Economy. I don't think I have heard the word "disgraceful" said as much as was said today - people flying with FlyGlobespan are not going to go back to them & personally, I will be going with Transat next time. There wasn't even any GSM check in staff or reps at Hamilton!!! It was the poor (& very disgruntled) Air Canada Jazz staff that checked us all in.....surely this is not acceptable?
Such a shame as they could really be a great airline but I feel things will be coming to a head soon.

My boss won't be happy. He has told us all internally and externally that the NOC services are all full for the summer with over 200,000 seats sold and that it will now run all year round. He also said that FR was a similar story to EMA, and that GWY is under major pressure from us. Hopefully we wont have too many delays and can put real pressure on SNN. Up the Knock!

Try the airlines website because, depending on the day, seats are in short supply in the Business/Premium Upgrade sections.

I see that the GSM 531/2 EDI-Murcia-EDI left and returned on schedule. This would seem to suggest that they can not have got it all wrong.
Are you guys just a little guilty of trying to find fault. he who is without sin and all that.

No not at all I want them to do well,
infact it pains me to see everything going so wrong for them
after they were so brave with their routes,
trust me If we were talking about a one off delay of 4 or 5 hours
I would be saying the same as you but we are talking about a hand full of delays 10-14 hrs on a new route that I do not think they should have ran daily well not to start with anyway.

The MME base has been running faultlessly so far, lets hope they keep it up!

DONTTELLTHEPAX. If you are correct and let us assume you are spot on with your "statistics", let us please bear in mind that these delays are the result of equipment failure, utilising other peoples equipment whilst awaiting delivery of Flyglobespan,s own equipment.
The airline's reliability on established routes would to my mind seem pretty good for what is essentially a low cost airline. Certainly compared to the much larger "Low Cost Airlines" based out of Luton or Dublin. Both these I have known to my cost just cancel flights when their equipment becomes unservicable, and leave you high and dry.
Flyglobespan would seem to be pretty darn good on the Edinburgh/Faro route for example.
