LSI

Whats with this new route, T3666, T3667, LSI? Are Eastern going head to head with Loganair?

Guernsey - London City would be a great route to get at Flybe, it would drastically reduce their LGW pax, all the Guernsey based bankers would be on board if it had an early am departure & an evening return.

Plymouth?

Unless the J41 has had recent mods to increase performance I don't think so. Restricted to 18 pax when we leased them and that was when the runway was dry - forget it if it rains.

Hey, smelt the coffee yet Dash 7. Dickie fancies a bit of STOL back in the fleet and you can buy ASW for a cornish pound or Arann for 1 Euro. My Jetstream days are numbered but upwards and onwards with Dash 8 300s I suspect

.

I just fear that with so many EA pilots looking for other employment, that there will be no-one to fly his aircraft. Its all a bit worrying.

Any truth in the rumours that you will be operating out of MAN for bmi regional soon?

Deep & fast; You have ruined my week-end now. I had dreams of smoked salmon on bellinis. Instead of alpen bars and nuts.

Anyway, I think is MAN and BHX. But not sure.

I have no other info on why we are doing it etc.

JamesTKirk, im fine thanks and how are you?

As far as I knew it was just MAN. Wow crew food?! Must be BMI paying for that, mind you I think it will be high rotations since I think the ABZ-MAN is about 6 times a day.

S2000 is supposedly doing the ABZ-based end of the ABZ-MAN schedule. Frees up an Embraer as bmi regional are putting another one on Heathrow schedules to replace an Airbus as mainline has the opportunity to get rid of another aircraft.

So if we believe the local papers... What would Eastern do with 5 Dash 8s and crew?
More contracts: LCY, SCS etc.?

All short field and steep approach qualified, even some very experienced EMB145 guys in the ranks

Two of the Dash leases are due up soon so unless Eastern renew them it will be only 3 Dash 8s.
