Newcastle cancellations CUSTOMER COMPLAINT

As one who works in the industry, my family (three young children) and I were among the many passengers stuffed by EasyJet’s cancellations last week. Our flight from Budapest to Newcastle, where we had parked our car, was cancelled without warning – no e-mail – nothing.
The 5 of us were fortunate to get on the EasyJet flight to Luton, arriving on Sunday night at 10.30pm local time, and fortunate again to get a one way car hire to drive to Newcastle overnight. I want EasyJet to reimburse me the £200 cost of the car hire and fuel.
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE? The only way to contact EasyJet is through their web site. Their ‘Contact Us’ button takes you to a customer services telephone number 0871 244 2366 at 10p per minute. We have frequently telephoned on and off over the past few days to get an automated voice telling us that the call waiting time will be 20 minutes. We have often given up after 45 minutes (perhaps they are getting an awful lot of complaints!)
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE? Does anyone know a direct dial telephone number and or e-mail address for EasyJet?

Hi, the direct number for EZY customer services is 01582 525422. Got it from saynoto0870.com (a very handy site)

Its not always Excel - take a look at the performance over the season so far and XLA have done well. Thomsonfly and TCX have had there fair share of problems tho.
I'd agree with EZY

easyjet have been suffering from delays, mainly due to widely talked about crewing shortages.

However, TOM, TCX and XLA have shared some quite hefty delays aswell, TOM performing way below previous years. Has anyone else noticed that BE are frequently delayed aswell?

So Jet2 will be operating ORK, BGO, AMS and MJV using based a/c and the 757 passing through to do TFS. Not too bad for a winter programme, though looking like only 1 based unit during the winter.

as of today the ryanair site is saying that winter flights are available for booking...does this confirm the demise of the newcastle / bergamo route?
