Aurigny Air Services
I'm interested in bagging a flight on one of the Trislanders before they retire.
Could somebody please advise which services theyre being used on at present? The website doesn't show type used.
Cheers, Cooch

Tres bien, merci.
Don't know how widely the Tri was used but the only time I've seen one was a retired example in Taiwan of all places.
Its notable that they were replaced by the Do228 quite some time ago!

Just wondering how the new route to/from LCY is doing. I know it is early days but if anyone has some information it would be good to know, thanks.

I hear that the Dornier delivery delay is due to someone at Aurigny not sending a letter of intent to the Portuguese company, can anyone confirm/deny?

Dornier Status Update - Any News ?
I hear the trislanders continue to give Aurigny challenges with a number of tech issues.
Has anyone heard any more about when the Dorniers will be on the line ?
Presumably with the EASA regulations about the need to have weather radar fitted, which I think are imminent, if CB's are forecast there may be flight delays, when trilanders are scheduled, although they and their pilots have coped very well without them for the last 40 odd years !

Dornier Delivery
According to Aurigny's Facebook page it's in Portugal awaiting parts for mod to improve all weather performance. Delivery stated to be mid Nov but I guess this is in the lap of the supplier..........who knows?
PS 2 more reported to have been located in Eastern Europe, negotiations ongoing.
