I would have thought that it would be Aviance as the flights will have a WW code and it would make little sense operationally for bmibaby to effectively have 2 different handling agents at the same airport for different routes, especially as Aviance are also the ticketing agent for bmibaby aswell.

6G AWW Services PIK- ORK

It has apparently been confirmed that Servisair will handle the code share AirWales / Bmi baby services at both CWL , ORK , and PIK . This is Air Wales handler - insisted upon by 6g management .

Aviance have a dwindelling number of airline contracts at cardiff and with rumours that WW might be moving when the contract expires they may not be at CWL for long !
As many of you are aware , they're not the brightest sparks and the best handlers in the world .

"Not the brightest sparks?" After the trouble they've given me over recent months that's a compliment where Aviance are concerned!

Ckin Gal: I haven't had dealing with Aviance at every one of their stations however CWL and BHX are particularly....errrrr....less than satisfactory, shall we say. I've had to file several reports concerning incorrect transit figures and aircraft which arrived at my station loaded totally differently to what the load message suggested. They seem to have an aversion to releasing control of transit flights as well until after the plane has landed with us. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to contact the airlines' operations department to ask them to tell Aviance to release control because I'm fed up with having to do it every week!! I start to wonder who trained these staff!!!!

The trouble with Aviance at CWL is staff numbers, like most of their bases.

I work at CWL and the guys and gals do an okay job considering how few of them there are.
