Hi all-

I have been looking into a few companies in tanzania for job ops. Problem is I don't think there are career categories on their websites that is except for precision. Just looking for a baseline on requirements.

Mechanic Job in TZ

I have heard that Coastal Aviation in Tanzania is looking for Engineers. Does anyone have any info on their maintenance? How do they pay and what are they like to work for? Does anyone have contact details for me? I am keen to do a bit of work up in Africa but I'm not so keen on Contract work. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Ermm...help?

hey guys

i have posted a comment like this in the jobs thread but didnt get any replies. i recently got my CPL (multi IF) at a school in bloemfontein, south africa and i also have all my ATPL subjects.

i will take any flying job i can get and go anywhere but all the charter companies in botswana and namibia etc wants u to have, say, 400 hours TT (just an example) while i have only a bit over 200. so now i ask u guys, where does a newly qualified CPL holder get a job with only 200 hours or get those extra few hours to reach most of the charter companies' minimums?? i dont want to become an instructor yet but if things are gonna be like this for a long while then i guess i will just have to become one.

any help and advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Nicolaas
