Eritrea self hire/training?
Have tried Google but could not find anything.
A mate is going there with the UN and wants to know if there is any training available.
Any info please shout

Sorry old boy-there's no GA in Eritrea. What training are you after?
They're on a kinda permanent "war-footing" with Ethiopia.
If you can observe the airfield daily, you'll see UN , Eritrean Air Force
Lufthansa & Eritrean Airlines ops.only.
Keep your "nose clean " & you'll be OK, but break their "rules " & you'll be deported as a "spy ". That has happened.
Duty -free seldom open-& there are better prices elsewhere.

Only place out there that does some traning is Ethiopian, at their pilot training school in Addis Ababa... click here for more info from the website.
