Eritrea self hire/training?
 

Have tried Google but could not find anything.

A mate is going there with the UN and wants to know if there is any training available.

Just military...almost zero GA besides UN A/C...cheap duty-free though!:}

Sorry old boy-there's no GA in Eritrea. What training are you after?

They're on a kinda permanent "war-footing" with Ethiopia.
If you can observe the airfield daily, you'll see UN , Eritrean Air Force
Lufthansa & Eritrean Airlines ops.only.

Keep your "nose clean " & you'll be OK, but break their "rules " & you'll be deported as a "spy ". That has happened.

Duty -free seldom open-& there are better prices elsewhere.

He was hoping to do some PPL training. He had heard there was a place.
