EC135 multi-pilot ops possible?

Hello,

does anyone see the chance to operate a EC 135 helicopter "multi-crew ops" under EASA NCO regulations?

Thanks for any clues!!

formally bond
Sounds like someone who'd ask for Mish Moneypenny. Would 'formerly' have got the point across better?

To the original poster: I think jet88 was referring to the operation Bond/BabMishCritCock(Unsure) ran from Cork out to the Irish-controlled rigs. Definitely a 2-pilot/MCC, commercial air transport gig.

Yes, it is possible-but your Ops Manual must clearly state under which conditions the helicopter MUST be flown with two pilots....

The manufacturer states it is a Single-Pilot IFR certified helicopter, so you canīt use the RFM, but your Ops Manual can define it as "Multi Pilot".

This Ops Manual-however-must be approved by the authorities first.....

And-keep in mind:
This means your crews MUST be Multi-Pilot-Type Rated VFR and IFR on the EC135!

They will not be allowed to fly a single pilot 135 then, unless they have done a single-pilot type rating as well...

So, back to the posters actual question, I don't think you can under Part-NCO because in that case you wouldn't have an ops manual. Isn't the EC135 too heavy for Part-NCO - isn't it NCC? In any case you'd probably need to be in a commercial organisation that has an ops manual and is then doing a nob-revenue flight. Possible but unlikely.

On that point, has anyone a link to Part-NCO and -NCC online?
