September 2016 Rotorheads Desktop Calendar
Dear All,
"The bell was ringing, aha
Our souls were singing
Do you remember
Never a cloudy day ... "
September is the month made famous by Earth, Wind and Fire, three things that all helicopter professionals should in the main avoid.
This month's picture, supplied by Kevin Mayes, depicts Alouette II HA-PPC in happier times. Celebrate the good days, remember the people who made them that way.
If like Kevin you would like to provide high resolution images please send submissions to:
rotorheads.calendar.pictures @ gmail.com
Wide screen version:
Is here: http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psh4e7zash.jpg
And for those that trend towards the norm, the "Normal" version:
Is here: http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psr8xmplud.jpg
Be safe, be nice to each other.
Cheers,

How sick to have the calendar picture being the actual aircraft that less than a month ago crashed and killed

I will leave it to our Moderator to decide the appropriateness of what was a well intended gesture.

Fair enough Pete, Just an opinion after being slated for posting the same picture on the crash thread, before the sad news, for being insensitive. The usual "think of the families & friends who read these posts" remarks.
