The talk of "product placement" carried on for months, yet nobody yet knows for sure, whether the possible sponsors were Passing Clouds or Lucky Strike.

Conan

PS There is a history to this. The jockey pictured, was captured by video a few seconds after regaining Terra Firma. With the News organisations clamouring for footage, he calmly lit up a Russian ciggy and fobbed everyone off. A truly cool and collected character.

I was at the local village pub a few hours after the accident and suggested that they put the news on TV for any updates, as the place was wall to wall with show goers. When he lit up, the place erupted in cheers. Memories, eh?

Maybe it was a publicity stunt arranged by Philip Morris. They probably have the budget for it.

"ANXIOUS SECONDS IN WHITE KNUCKLE PLUNGE OF TERROR. ORPHANS SAVED"

"We thought we were going to die" said Mark Bickersly, one of the passengers "There was a loud bang and the aeroplane dropped several feet and turned on its side. We could see the pilot wrestling valiantly with the controls trying desperately to miss the local comprehesive school. It was terrifiing, but the cabin crew did their best in a very hot situation.".

Authorities are still scanning the area looking for missing luggage. The passengers were booked on the next flight and offered a million million pounds in compensation.
