Right folks, the time has come.
Entries included a nice mixture of the sublime and the ridiculous (not to mention the splendidly crude), and in reverse order the results are as follows:
Third place to 6Z3 with
The newly commissioned Cornwall weather simulator gave inner city holidaymakers the opportunity to avoid the A30 altogether.
Runner-up spot to pohm1 with
Despite the Captain's steadfast refusal to surface, HMS Trafalgar's latest navigational faux pas had not gone unnoticed.
And the winner is arandcee with
Guy on the middle bench: 'I'm so utterly, utterly, utterly, utterly, utterly, f^cking bored. If I've got to go in one more shop I'm taking out the Uzi . . . (a sentiment I can share)
