Aviastar lists it only as NAC (NDN) Firecracker, however the airframe G-SFTA is the one of a Turbo Firecracker according to this site

May I assume that it has a canopy ?

Funny landing gear… Is it a mock-up?

Maybe the Republic's contender for the FCS (which was won by Convair)?

Or Maybe the CAC CA31 Operational Trainer mock-up?

None, of those Reg. Not a CAC, not a Republic/Convair or a mock-up. Yes it had a cockpit as it flew! RR
