T2,
Apparently they are taking E3s but in pretty small numbers. See post # 3006 in this thread:

Interesting stats:
"Additionally, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines hired a combined 57% of all pilots in 2023."

If you mean a list of mandatory retirements, I'm afraid I don't. I just stumbled across the DL list. Not sure where to look for a current tally of AA or UA retirements. If I find any, I'll put them up here.
It's not exactly what you're looking for but here's some hiring history. They seem to update this regularly:

I don't know if it's up to date or where the information comes from. It seems that hiring these days is largely to replace the retirement numbers.

737pg,
Yes, I get the impression the data from APC isn't undated very often and therefore might not be accurate. I did a search of the AA threads on APC looking for a recent set of data but came up empty (or just have poor search skills).

Sunrig,
Yes, apparently so. But judging from the number of calls my son gets for premium trips on his days off (sometimes several a day), they still need a lot more bodies. The frenetic pace of hiring in past years can't go on forever. But, cutting back to 1000/1100 a year is still pretty good; 2000/2200 a year is just nuts...but wonderful.

Not sure how important it is to post this Delta tidbit here but...why not. There's a new website for people to apply to Delta, replacing airlineapps.com:

The pay scales on APC are notoriously out of date, but as American, Delta and United have the same hourly rate for each type of aircraft until at least 2026, the highest of the 3 on APC should be close to accurate.
