With the greatest of respect Rhodes13, Ryanair do not fly from Charleroi to EMA, BHX, LBA or LPL. In Fact 'The Worlds Favourite' sic, airline only go to Edinburgh. But I suppose in the Ryanair way I should be grateful for that. So from now on, I will use Brussels Airlines for that route and get treated like a human being.

Perhaps people forget that travelling Low Cost and I work for one in Africa, does not mean low service. But of course Ryanair does what it says on the tin. It does not get you to the airport you might expect to. As been said on here you cannot buck the market:=

Nice one mate:D:D:D:D

Would you really rather work for the minimum wage flipping burgers all day instead of flying on a very modern fleet earning what those at McDonalds would regard as rather a good amount of money? I am no fan of the new reality of life which regretfully is here to stay nor a supporter of MOL (LEO/Slim) but a pilot faced with the choice of :-

a) Unemployment
b) Burgers
c) Ryanair

would need some cunning plan to reject c) in favour of one of the others.
B, A then C. If d) Head on the chopping block was listed, it would come before C.
:ooh:

Yayyyyy!! Slim's back! Sorry to hear about your friend. Lost a couple myself over the years.

Taking money for our services. That would qualify us both as prostitutes the only differences being that I work in a nicer 'house', my pimp doesn't slap me around and I don't take it up the tradesman's.

Evening Ryanair haters. On the smartphone Vexed as I'm in Spain for the negotiation of your next paycut :-)

On that to;ic where in your contract / agreement does it mention payrise? What makes you think you have a divine entitlement to a payrise? Not happy with your pay? You can always leave and join a 40 Thieves airline like bmibaby: rats, 58 of them are facing the dole. Oh no, they,ve applied to Ryanair, haven't they.

Anyhow, must toddle off and have dinner in the hotel that the company booked and paid for. Evening Leo, nice to see you back I'll give you a bell tomorrow and give you the lowdown on the meeting.

Pretty poor trolling Slim. After Leo bigging up your return this is the best you can do? Come the day the fates pay you back I can't see anyone going out and getting pissed at the news. Well, unless it's in celebration.

I hope the Baby guys manage to find employment elsewhere, I would hate to think they will be forced to help the cancer grow!

Camel! Im amazed Ive never seen so many made up words! Are you in PR or do you write the contracts?

Skank Airways zero points

Mr Shady,

I have no interest in working for what you perceive as the crème de la crème in aviation but your last post clearly reveals the rotten and disgusting mentality that got the better of you and your skanky outfit with time. Not knowing you personally, I still feel confident in saying that, as I believe there were days where you must have been a nice fellow. :(

Bragging about waisting company funds while negotiating pay-cuts is just another example of the low-life mentality at the airline with the ugliest paint scheme in history. Your assumption that people hate Ryanair might not be truly correct sir. There exists a difference in uncontrolled physical repulsive reactions and the emotional state of hate when confronted with the pimp-to-prostitute company philisophy that you advocate. :=

I wonder about one thing; if your 'peers' in the aviation industry condemn your outings and the workforce of your fine carrier loathes you, who do you consider your equals or better your friends?

If it helps, I can be your friend. Free of charge of course, just like that :).

Let's put this to bed once and forever now, shall we?

Leo and Shady are one and the same person i.e. Mickey, or one of Mickey's henchmen, allright?

Don't be fooled by Shady talking to Leo or vice versa!

Took me 30 secs to write, much more time than Mickey is worth.

Bye

Leo Hairy-Camel 11th November 2009 17:36

Put yourself down for a couple, old boy, or a couple of hundred if you like.

Satisfaction is just a click away.

By the way, I've flown with Miss July many times. She's lovely. We, all of us, have private talents.

Leo.

No worries Vexed: when you leave I'll give you a reference:

Vexed has been dressing up as a pilot for several years now: during this time he has been a model pilot on board Ryanair's Boeing 737-800 aircraft between (fill in the start date) and ( fill in the end date): unfortunately not a working model. His talent's are unique and he has good and original thoughts which have been well received: regrettably, the original have not been good nor have the good been original.

He has the boundless energy and enthusiasm of a puppy: however, in such a responsible position it is rarely appropriate. He has set himsef consistently low standards and has struggled to achieve them: he is an individual condemned to travel through life pulling doors marked "push".

It would be fair to say that Vexed is a funny man. Indeed, he has the wit and comic timing that any stand-up comedian would be proud of. Unfortunately, being a comedian doesn't necessarily make one a good pilot: when he says " I have control", it is, in fact a lie.

Nevertheless, he is one of the safest pilots in the company: always at least 5 minutes behind the aircraft.

On the social side Vexed makes strangers immediately: he could, in fact, conduct a successful argument with a signpost.

Notwithstanding that he does have have all the qualities of an old faithful family dog, except loyalty.

in the hotel that the company booked and paid for
I think it's rather telling that you have to mention that specifically Slim. Well that's us told then:ouch:

The Real Slim Shady 11th November 2009 19:35

well Chesty y'all keep going on about sleeping in cars and how poor we are I just wanted to make the point.

The room even had a bed, curtains and a shower !

The Real Slim Shady 11th November 2009 20:37

Well Vexed, several colleagues have expressed their preference in me taking over the reins from Big D. Of course, you will know that I declined the job previously because the roster was inappropriate to my personal circumstances, perhaps this time round I may just apply.

Chesty Morgan 11th November 2009 21:46

And that is the point Slim. That you had to make a point of it!

Some thoughts on this hate filled rant

Its bloody insulting that all of you non Ryanair guys think we don't get paid enough to either stay in a house at our base or in a hotel when we are out of base. I get paid plenty of money, and when I am out of base its an extra 20 euros per sheduled hour which in my experiance is more than enough to stay in a 4 star hotel. I don't like Ryanair, but they pay me to fly aeroplanes. I go in to work and do my job and then go home again. I have no loyalty to the brand or company, but as long as they keep paying me I don't care. If they ever want me to do anything I am not contractly bound to do I will tell them where to go unless there is something in it for me.

I am earning more money than my friends who are working at other airlines who didn't have to pay for thier type rating. And I have two friends from my flying course flying biz jets, both of whome have to have second jobs to make ends meet. Thats even with the couscous they are given for free during the cruise. At the end of the day I'm the one driving a sports car and they still have the same thing they were driving through pilot training. Not that I have anything against them, they are both great freinds of mine. I guess we can't all work for Netjets eh?

To the original point of this thread- it is disgraceful that Ryanair are having a pay freeze for Ryanair pilots given that they have made a vast profit this year. The airline is run by accountants and I know that they can easily manipulate the books so they can screw the pilots on their pay deal.

However, I flew with a captain last week who's brother works for Easyjet as a captain as well. Although they are a lot "nicer" and look after you there, he said he earns a lot more than him- even after all the stuff you have to pay for yourself at Ryanair.

And WWW, you are an idiot- probably one of those arrogant Easy guys who thinks that working for easyjet is as good as BA and who clog up the airways down to Spain by flying at .77 the whole time. Get over yourself... and get out of the way. Some of us don't have to fly at cost index 0.

17.

dannyalliga 12th November 2009 02:59

as17,

how mature are your thoughts?let's see:

1- you don't care about the brand as long as they pay you (just like a hooker)
2- you get paid plenty of $ and when out of base 20 extra (you are then on a floating BRK contract completely forgetting that there are based guys who often don't reach the 60 hours/month mark and make less than half your money...but you don't care as said in point 1)
3- You had to pay for your type and you drive a sports car (easy when cheating the tax man)
4- Bashing Net Jets while their pilots and management have shown what solidarity means during a recession, but you obviously don't care about solidarity.
5- The company is making huge profits but still does not wanna share a single $ with its workforce, but it's ok because our Captains make more than the Easy ones (working ethics go out of the window for you since the only language you seem to understand is $$).
6- you think that flying at .77 or cost index 0 means clogging your way down to Spain but what would you do if tomorrow an FCI would tell you to set 20 in the cost index?Would you still be brave enough and fly fast or just follow orders and slow down clogging the others?By the way you obviously have no knowledge of the fact that flying at .79 you are clogging many guys who can fly at speeds your 737 cannot even dream of.
