Following the recent ad for Direct entry captains, I forked out my 50 pounds and applied, with all the minimum criteria for DEC. TWO DAYS later, I received an email saying "thankyou for applying, however, we will not be taking your application any further".......but hey, cheers for the 50 quid sport.

You should contact your credit card company and protest the charge. You were not provided the service for payment remitted.
