That 6 minutes goes really fast!

Hats off to anyone that manages to finish it!

Still got a few more to finish, good luck ladies and gents:-)

Did anyone get a confirmation email once the tests were completed, or just the 'thank you for completing the tests, please log out....' message on the assessment website once finished?

MikeHoncho 28th Apr 2013 16:30

I just got the "please bugger off you suck" message :} no confirmation email.
Now just wait another couple of weeks for the answer

Easyjet

Hello everyone! I´ve received the first mail (we´ve received your profile) on the 29th of March.
The invitation for the online assessment was the 18th of April.
I finished the online assessment a few days ago, and I´m still waiting for the results. I think we´ve to wait until the online process is active (i think 6 of May).
Good luck!!

Just completed the assessment. Straight forward I would say apart from the verbal reasoning which is really time critical.

5000 hours TT. B757/767/737 and on command shortlist with current company.

fingers X

Completed the tests today, nothing too tricky. Even if I'm selected I won't agree to pay for my own rating. I hope everyone else follows suit.

Non type rated easyjet recruitment?

I haven't done the test yet, I haven't been able to put aside the time just yet (work, kids and redecorating the house). Just out of interest how long does the whole process take.

I'm the same as Guy. I won't (can't afford to) pay for my own rating.

Superpilot 29th Apr 2013 09:49

2 hours to be comfortable.

Incidentally, anybody else had a problem where after completing a test, your results failed to transfer to their server? One of my test results did, and it gave me the opportunity to copy and paste from a text box and send them manually.

What on earth was the point of applying then?
John smith, the package has not been communicated from an official course within EZY yet. So far there has only been some speculation about the package on the table.

It is to risky to not apply as it doesnt happen every day that they open the recruitment to non type-rated pilots ...

Did you indicate in the initial application that you would NOT be willing to self fund a rating, yet still get that invitation for online selection?

Anyone tried using a PS3 or XBox controller?

PressTheTit 29th Apr 2013 14:02

WTF !

I know where the term One Arm Paper Hanger comes from now ! :ugh:

WX Man 29th Apr 2013 15:34

.... I take it you're referring to the tests!

letic 29th Apr 2013 17:05

ATPL A corresponds to JAR licence from what I know

What on earth was the point of applying then?
What on earth is the point of agreeing to pay for the rating except to continue the ongoing emasculation of pilots generally?

Applicants ought to grow a collective spine and return the balance of power to our profession not the MBA's who get rich off your hard work under the guise of "representing shareholders interests" and move on to the next industry at the drop of a hat.

:ok:

vrb03kt 29th Apr 2013 20:03

Why on earth would we not apply john_smith? It's a speculative application. Easyjet have been extremely light on detail so there is no way of knowing at this stage if the type rating will cost £300, £30,000 or be "self-sponsored" by way of a bond and if there is even a decent contract on offer.

For me, and I imagine many others, it will have to be significantly better than my current employment deal to consider it. Perhaps that won't matter; maybe there will be hundreds of unemployed people with experience willing to sell their soul for a chance to fly for ezy, and maybe there won't. Either way, if I didn't apply I would have no chance at all.

That tunnel thing with the mouse was quite fun! I think they should release it as an app for people to kill time on whilst sitting on trains.

flyer19832007 1st May 2013 21:19

What the hell was the verbal test about!! I think even with the advertised ten minutes it would still be solid!

Ah well, we shall wait and see whether the PFO email arrives after the 7th!
