EVA Air Interview
I am going for an interview in Taipei on August 12, and would like to know more about EVA Air. I've searched their website for the basics but would like to know more.
If you know anything about domiciles, working conditions, pay, living in Taiwan, etc. I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

It was amazingly fast. 8 days to be exact. I downloaded the app from evaair.com filled it all out, included all the supporting documents they wanted and mailed it on July 22. The recruiter called on July 30th.

777, I also initially emailed my resume, but then I downloaded an 8 page application with flight time supplement and filled it all out. Notification was quick after I mailed it.
Interesting that you mention China Airlines, because the recruiter I spoke with on the phone made it a point to ask me if I had applied to China Airlines. I told that I had not, but I know that there is some tension between the Taiwanese and the Chinese.
Anyway, go to evaair.com click on employment and download the 2 documents (app and flight time sheet). Mail it in and good luck.

labor law in taiwan stipulate if you work in taiwan and have either reach 65 ( 60 for pilot) or have serve in the same company for 25 years and have reach 55- yu will be entitle to a pension.
expat have more security at CAL as EVA tends to layoff the expats first when need it. but, its their right, they have spent so much money on the ab-initials so, cant fault them. however, the flying itself is great, gooed airplanes.
cheers

hello,
-Bond= $60,000 USD
-I do not believe there is an education supp. I have heard rumours this may be in the cards in the future if you move your family to Taiwan. For now most foreigners commute
-Check out willflyforfood.cc under EVA Air.
