Sector pay - TAX

Hi all,

I read on on of the forums a few weeks ago (with reference to Ryanair) that sector pay tends to attract little or no tax - something about not being in the UK (obviously non-dom sectors).

Does anyone know anything about this? Any one care to share an example break-down of how they are taxed if this is the case.

OR have I COMPLETELY misunderstood?

Thanks.

The sector pay is taxed but the amount your recieve is fixed. IE Ryanair state that for a specific day we will get £130 STG that is after tax, the tax is paid by the company behind the scenes. The tax paid dependent on your tax bracket
