Ryanair "BONUS"
How many aviation companies have given their employees £20,000 + as a share option bonus? And to think Ryanair have made "stacks of money" while the industry has suffered its worst crisis in its history! I have watched Ryanair grow and grow over the past four years without pausing for breath. Can anything stop them? If not then why does everybody love to "hate them"? Okay so the boss is a ruthless business man but he appears to know his business and he certainly knows how to pay his staff. If it comes down to earnings or lifestyle then who wins? The traditional carriers where you sit in the right hand seat for years on end hoping that your company can survive through the bad times before you finally get a chance to earn those shinny four strips or Ryanair with great promotion prospects and growth growth growth???
Why is there such a huge gap appearing between the "old and the new"? Will we all be doing it the Ryanair way before long or will their "master plan" fall apart?
I ask any of you to convince me that Ryanair will not continue to achieve what they have in the past four years!

Providing they keep costs down, keep fare differentials between themselves & their competitors high (to compensate for non-central airport usage), don't crash, and the EU don't rule illegal/unfair subsidies that FR get from various regional authorities - (to be fair, the subsidies are not exclusive to Ryanair, it's just that other low-cos would rather not compete at the same airports), and regional authorities all over Europe have subsidised non-aviation related industries to locate in socio-economically (& geographically) marginal locations - they should be fine.

I take your point about 6 sector days, they are hard going we only do one out of STN and thats 3x PIK - 7hours block.
