Question CitiExpress Rosters

Hi All

Just been offered a position as F/0 with CitiExpress (ATP), based IOM. Would appreciate a some info on likely rosters, specifically ratio of days on/off and those spent on standby.

Thanks

HI,
Normal roster is 5 on 2 off, with one 6 on 3 off a month. 7 days off a month min. IOM ATP rosters quite good. 2 or 4 sector mornings or 4 or 6 sector (short sectors) in the afternoon. Standby variable in that when the crewing level is right there should be a few standby's but not too many. Rosters come out about the 10th of the month for the next month. Not bad overall. The ATP is sometimes know as the 'gentlemans' fleet 'cos has quite civilised roster and duty times. Hope this helps. Good luck and welcome.

Blimey, does this mean the wheels at BACX finally have the brakes off and recruitment is grinding forward again?

Not sure if they are recruiting per se, I was 'recruited' 7 months ago and have been treading water in the holding pool since.

I have also been offered a position on IOM. That being the case will CitiExpress help in the relocation (places to stay etc) or is it down to me?

Thanks

don't expect any haelp in terms of relocation from the company. They don't even give it to current pilots that should get it!

Exclamation

Don't give up your day job just yet. BACX announced last week that all TP's except Dash 8 (8 in MAN / 2 SOU) will go by Oct.

Cruise alt is talking out of his bottom. The TP's are going as their leases expire. The last ATP is scheduled to leave in 2005. After that who knows. Relocation help....We had until our base induction (just after the groundschool) to find somewhere to live.

Property isn't cheap on the Island. I rented for 6 months after moving over and it cost approx £700 pcm for a two bedroom house.

Roster pretty much as smallfry gives it.

For those of you who were offered jobs I would check that they are still available, as I have heard that the ATP course has been cancelled.

Hope that anyone who thought they were going on it has'nt packed in a job.

The people running our company at the moment are only running it into the ground!!!
