Anyone heard the rumour about this new ORK based start up ?
National news media reporting that they are head-hunting Michael Foley, ex-cx of EI, and that they intend to operate ERJ-135/145's out of ORK to BRU / AMS / CDG / FRA, starting summer 2003.

What is it boys? Not sour grapes I hope because one of ours has had the guts to fly from the comforts of our golden nest to face the biggest challenge of them all: the fickle airline business. Personally I wish him luck!

Absolutely no sour grapes from my side (can't speak, wouldn't dare speak, for Lon). He put a hell of a lot of work into his degree and fair play to him for exercising his new found knowledge. My post referred to his, shall we say, 'bed-side-manner, which, having experienced it first hand on a number of occsions, leaves a lot to be desired. Best of luck to him. Let's hope for all concerned he's nowhere near customer relations or delicate contract negotiations.

As radar says, not sour grapes - just personal dislike of the man, founded on experience.
I was about to compare him to the Guv, but on second thoughts he has had the guts to put someone's money where his mouth is.

Must have been making quite a noise as he even woke FO up and accused him of being me.
