Unhappy Green Grass

Hotnhi

The grass may not be greenner but at least somebody hasn't put weedkiller on it.

Remember there is nothing wrong with the people it is the way the people have been treated.

So what is the big deal at EZ ? I'd really like to have a picture of the typical month for a pilot there. Is it that much worse than Ryanair ?

I just can't wait for the market to boost again (not too far to go...2003 should be up again for an explosion in 2004) and airlines should start to beef up their staff treatment again, especially low cost ones.

Air France has witnessed the damage caused by low cost airlines in the UK and Germany and has started a counter-attack against Ryanair: a mix of law suits, new agressive marketing, new fares on specific legs which will make life a lot harder for Ryanair. And Air France is a great airline to work for (funny enough, people can pressurize management a bit through unions and lobbies, unlike at EZ and Ryan. Not that French managers are any nicer guys than their British peirs).

That means as soon as the market kicks in again, BA, AF and Lufthansa) will swallow so many pilots in it will dry the market off hence EZ and Ryanair's pilots quickly simply because people feel they've been f****d up with and have not a single drop of faithfulness left.
