I never post here but I feel there is a need. Management is hiding behind inexperienced twenty something year olds. They came with a premium contract for the summer but felt that was too much money when the season ended. Therefore they offered those captains a salary as low as 3750 euro per month in winter in order to ‘pay back’ the difference with the other pilots. It’s almost the same as the FO salary. In short, they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing and therefore always looking for pilots. Not that it’s very different from other ACMI companies, ACMI is just definitely not a long term career option. Regarding the flying, low standards combined with overconfidence and arrogance is what you see too much there unfortunately. Overall, it’s just not a good place to be as a professional.
