Sure,
a friend end of mine is an instructor there (albeit initially on a tailored contract but unfortunately now on the “normal” contract with TRI duties) so:
1) roster: expect June July August 27 days off. Rest of the year almost never more then 10.
2) duties: it depends. They will fill u up with standbys if they cannot work you to the max. The duties varies between 2 legs to 4 legs / day. You might have some layovers at the NH MUC airport; in Paderborn, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere in front of the highway with a nice gas station. PMI now currently only for Muc crew.
3)moral is quite bad: some airberlin guys new to the operation with 8000 pic and the base in Muc they are ok. Everybody else (excluding ex AUA cpts) they are pissed as hell.
4) base transfer: if you are in VIE / SLZ / PMI forget about moving to MUC. They will never give it to you.
5) money: if you are joining as FO expect more or les 2300€ month.sometimes 2500€.
6) the flight ops are all ex AUA but they where HATED in their previous company, for a reason....

Thank you Arewerunning for the answer.
Do you know the minimum granted day offs? (excluding standby). Are they grouped somehow or random?

Good addition.. I know a guy who was born, they put a crown on his head and now the call him king and he earns €5,6 million. But he must be so unlucky, its before tax, and he must hire his own staff as wel!

quite, in fact I a few years if he works hard he could be a store manager, then area manager with a company car. McDonald’s are actually quite a good employer when it comes to employees seeking a career path. Unlike this shower of an airline. Those conditions are deplorable and they’re only getting away with paying that because people are lowering themselves to it.
