Their roadshow in São Paulo seem to be sucessfull. All room full more than 400 candidates.
I wonder to know what the pilots union will say about this. About convertion of brazilian licences to EASA.

Regarding conversion of licences to EASA, actually it's not a conversion. The licence would be validated by the Portuguese CAA and the pilot would have to convert (on his own) to a full EASA licence within 18 months otherwise will lose the job (which means sitting the 14 ATPL subjects and doing a Skill Test). Ryanair recently did a roadshow in Brazil and it was exactly the same thing.

Lepo I was wondering if us foreigners from Europe can fly in Brazil same way as you may fly here as you explained?
I checked years ago and....not, only Brazilian passport holders can fly there, your CAA protects local pilots...so...

The thing is: Brazil has a very big Portuguese/Italian/German community and thus a lot of brazilians are descendants from europeans, so they also hold an EU Passport and are legally allowed to live and work in the EU. They basically need to convert their ICAO licences to an EASA one in order to be able to fly for european carriers.
