Does anyone have a clue how you get invited for an interview, I have been in the app system now for 8 years and update regularly, have experience on A320 but flying 737 now, would love to get back to the airbus

I have 2800 hours.

Is LTN a likely base on joining Wizz, what can I expect to earn (I’m used to a large flat rated salary rather than sector pay etc), and how long am I looking at before getting the chance to move to LHS?

Cheers
LTN is one of those bases which have a lack of crew so yes, I believe that you will join it immediately. You can expect around 4000 pounds as SFO in LTN net, at least this is what ive heard last time, might be different though.

Quite quickly you can move to the left seat with those hours. Expect up to 1 year max.

Can anyone tell me what the typical net salary is for both type rated and non type rated direct entry captains at the Luton base? What can be expected as far as the company pension contribution is concerned,
and are there any additional perks such as medical insurance, loss of licence insurance etc?

And what about the Captain salaries on the non UK contracts? Where they get paid per Km?

Also for the Captains, what bases are mostly used when on floating base contract? Are the particular bases with larger demand than others?

I get your point but haven’t we all started like this?
I have profited by young, old and senior captains and I want to help the next generation as much I got helped by patient, calm, cool and fun people... who made my first 1000h an awesome experience ...

add 1500 euros more ( maximum ) for Uk contract. But you will spend that difference in UK as is much more expensive than the rest of bases....Floating base contract means to send you to bases where they dont have people: Moldavia, Georgia, and other holes in the network...no lifestyle and working in 20 days 85hrs....

You are probably right. BUD is hard to get as a new SFO and VIE doesn't have consistent-all-year connection with MAD. That leaves OTP as the most obvious choice.

Usually ask about current A/C but expect questions regarding fuel planning, RVSM, stuff any experienced airline guy should know.

Regarding the upgrade process, some experienced FOs who have just finished their mentoring programme have received command evaluation dates end of next year. I believe that there’s a slowdown in the upgrades at the moment.

Hi, I'm looking for an advice. I have just passed assessment at another company. They're paying for 737 TR, but with 5 year bond and much worse T&C than Wizz (no pay during training, self employment, random roster, etc.). They will present exact conditions on Monday and they're waiting max to 2-3 days to sign the contract. A week ago I've sent my application to Wizz for NTR cadet and I haven't received any info yet. What would you do in my situation?

I would wait for Wizzair... now you can manage times, there is no pilots...

Wizz Air just decided to remove random roster for pilots which was giving 400-500 euros extra for those who decided to have such a pattern ( no commuting ) just to save such an small amount of money and making more unhappy to the employers...the result is that every time they are paying less and less with a good number of airplanes on the ground in Budapest due to lack of pilots... salaries schemes were changed more than half a year ago and in comparison with the old schemes are 10% less.( opposite what they announced). They are changing every month their plans, their terms and their objectives. A ship sailing on the sea without heading with an objective of 300 airplanes in less than 10 years and without pilots.

I left the company quite some time ago but all the guys I am still in contact with are telling me that with the new salary scheme the salary did go up at least 10%, and I concur after seeing their payslips and comparing them with my old ones.
