Does anyone have info regarding the new pay starting in April? Specifically for LTN? Must be getting closer to Easy and Ryan if they want to keep expanding??

For people expecting a raise, as has been mentioned, it is a huge dissappointment and the attrtition rate especially with Captains is just not high enough as its mostly local guys in places where unfortunately for them, Wizzair is the only game in town. This new pay method is just to create more ambiguity, as is common in this compamy, raise more questions then answers, and divert attention from the pilot group from the real issue, that this is just a turd in a nice wrapping, a relocation of funds, and in total will likely cost the company almost nothing in the grand scheme of things. A dissappointment to say the least. There are much better paying companies, with much better treatment of their people to work for in the current market environment.

Hi B767PL,

You might be right but for a cadet with low hours and no TR itís one of tje best options in Europe considering that you can have a base in your home town.

Hi all, I read almost all thread, thanks for the contributions. I am a A320 pilot with 5000hrs and I have been offered a SFO position which I was told to be possibly upgraded to LHS in 6 months. If I may, I would like to ask you guys, in reality is this correct? If so, does it depend on your base?

You'll need 300 hours WZZ time, and it does not depend on the base...

Hi,

You need it in order to get your application processed. There is no way around it Iím afraid. I was in the same situation couple of years ago.

Lets face it, they waited too long with competitive salaries. They *will not even be competetive with the april increment *IMHO.
I would go so far and say that more FOs and especially SFOs are leaving than new ones join. Gonna be interesting how they wanna do the summer season with additional 17 aircrafts coming those weeks.

Dash- for clarification- nobody knows how the new salary system will look like, the management still haven't send any hard data, numbers are still changing, there are dozens of rumours... It is clear that the new salary system doesn't work and they are trying to fix it somehow (till tomorrow they should send payslips for the last half a year to compare the salaries- it won't happen). Every pilot that I know (including myself) is very disappointed/trying to figure what to do next.
Good luck

I edited my statement by *, thanks for pointing out flu.
what I understood they didnt want to send payslips to us, but presenting the multipliers by the 15th of march after comparing all those payslips internally.

One thing is clear, complaining doesnt help here. Every airline is seeking for new pilots right now, so the most easy way is to change company if you can (family, close to home whatever).
I mean for rookies it's still super! They pay the rating and deduct a bit from you, you will get hundreds of hours within shortest time and you get paid for that - not bad at all.
But for experienced people like me its just sad how they try to "increase" a salary and improve work life balance. So i took my decision very quickly instead of unheard complaining.
They wanna run a company with rookies and training all the time? Their masterplan, not mine.
But who knows, at the end everything's gonna be fine for all.

Hi,

Yep. Usually you'll receive an email if you were selected for the assessment within a few weeks.
