SkyGreece Airlines

Anybody having any relevant information about this new airline which just acquired an old 767-300, aiming to start flights between the US and Athens?

Yes, they are preparing to start services this summer. I have seen the B763 they have acquired last month... Everything seems alright, but as an outsider from the industry, I am not so sure on what's actually going on, however they were really friendly, and hopefully everything will end up OK. I put a video on YouTube.

And as it couldn't be other, the airline ceased ops a couple of days ago. Really sad for all participants. Crew and most; passengers.

SkyGreece Airlines ceases operations. Perhaps, not by choice:

"On June 14, 2015 the company's sole Boeing 767 experienced a loss of pressurization shortly after takeoff from Athens. The aircraft, registration SX-BPN was performing flight GW-123 from Athens to Toronto with 33 passengers and 11 crew. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was climbing through 33,000 feet about 200km northwest of Athens. An emergency descent to 10,000 feet was initiated by the crew. The aircraft returned and landed in Athens safely about one hour after departure.
It was reported that some oxygen masks were not functional, with flight attendants using oxygen bottles for those feeling faint. Pictures taken on board show tangled masks that wouldn't be usable in an emergency and others with brown tubing. The passengers were provided accommodation and rebooked onto an Air Transat direct flight the next day.
It was also reported that SkyGreece Airlines owes landing fees to Toronto airport, and their aircraft has been seized."

Just as well this shambolic operation has ended before someone
got hurt, not just financially.

This would explain their one (and presumably only) aircraft that sits at the north end of YYZ.
