Hi,
I did the assesment recently, they will send a briefing package a few days before which will mostly cover the sim part. Expect loss of engine after v1, then manual one engine ils approaches with and without flight director. Also some failures during climb to check how you deal with control and communication handover, checklist reading, I think these are required skills elsewhere too and they are not trying to overwhelm you, just stay relaxed and safe.
The interview was very nice, with two captains from the company, they were asking questions about my personality, how do I resolve problems and conflicts, and to share some examples. I hope it helped. Good luck!

I've also the assessment coming up soon for TR FO 737.
seems like they don't ask for any system theory for FO's is this correct??
what is the group exercise within Norwegian?

Hi all,
I passed the DEC screening and have been told that I’ve been put in the talent pool. They said Riga would be on the table but I’m not interested in going East. Much prefer to wait until the South (Spain) opens up again.
Are there others here that are in the same boat? And has anybody an idea if there’s going to be growth in Spain in the foreseeable future?
Thanks and have a good weekend

I had similar case. Once I had an interview they said I will definetely be based in Riga and I was completely fine with it. but when I received contract it was Helsinki already.
Btw maybe someone knows anything about base bidding in Norwegian? what has to be done and is it even possible for new pilots? Have heard that it depends on seniority and also preffered base?! and at the end of the day- maybe it's possible to swap base with someone who agrees?
