Fly Gosh Scam or not ?
Hey guys,
Just a quick question: is Flygosh a scam ?
I'm not asking because I want to be part of it, just to be curious... it looks too big too be true, but who knows...
Thanks

Thanks for your answer. Actually I was not clear: When I say scam, I mean there's no job behind.
For example I received this funny mail about citilink's interview in Amsterdam. My question is: is there really an interview and a job behind that? That would also means that Garuda Citilink likes to have P2F F/O...

Citilink has hold interviews in Europe before, not that long ago, and jobs have come out of them.
I know it because a good friend of mine got a job with them after attending one of their European assessments.
The difference it's that my friend never went through FlyGosh. He applied directly.
You don't need FlyGosh to get an interview or to get the job.
They are purely a middle-man and believe me, they are more middle-man in their business than just the guy behind FlyGosh.
Are there jobs behind the FlyGosh offers? Yes (how many positions is another question).
Be aware that they keep taking groups of people for interview at $X a head and the interviews are held quite regularly.
You could end up paying for an interview/assessment only to be told that you have to pay for the job too.
Taking in consideration that their requirements are quite "flexible", cash become one of those break it or make it requirements.

Problem is without contacts and local connections, there is no way you can land a job in Indonesia or even get a reply. All the European and middle east recruitment is done by them.

All the European and middle east recruitment is done by them.
Once again, I've a personal friend who recently got a job in Indonesia after attending one of those European interview/assessment days and he never applied through/to FlyGosh.
He did apply directly to the airline he is working for in Indonesia.
He apply directly to the airline and the airline replied directly to him, asking him to attend on X date in Y place in Europe.
So No. They do not handle all the European and Middle East recruitment.
FlyGosh does nothing else than posting the same jobs that you with a bit of research could find for yourself.
They are nothing else that a window on the internet advertising your vacancies.
In fact, Andy (or FlyGosh if you prefer) has been running all this interview/recruitment days with others like Avia Integrated. As it was Avia who had the assignment of recruiting the pilots and not FlyGosh.
FlyGosh was the big advertiser, attracting the people as it has so many Likes and Fans on FB, etc and Avia was running the show.
This is nothing else than a business with lots of middle-man in the game and all of them want their share of your money. Hence why, you pay for the interview and then for the job too.
Any serious company, doesn't give their recruitment campaign/drive to FlyGosh & friends.
But in some companies there are individuals that want to profit from a recruitment drive and FlyGosh has created the perfect way of cashing in on peoples dreams.
If FlyGosh loves so much aviation and its people as he claims... why doesn't he run his website (sorry, I should say blog) and FB page as non-profit?
Or why doesn't he stop making a profit on the people who needs a job and make revenue only from advertising from companies?
He could easily make a decent living just from other revenues without having to use people dreams... and all in the name of his love for aviation.

Ok thanks for your answers.
Actually I had understood that Flygosh is just a middle man (in addition to Avia integrated), but I was wondering if they were only just trying to get 200€ per person or if you have a chance to get the position when you go to the interview.
I now understand that the answer is yes... So basically it's not a scam, it's just a "standard" P2F offer.
Just to continue on that topic, is Garuda Citilink aware of that? I mean, do they think that these pilots are just normal contractors? Because, on this offer the name of the airline is clearly associated with P2F...

Garuda and Citilink are sister companies but not the same.
In other words, Garuda it's not involved in this FlyGosh recruitment for Citilink or viceversa.
Garuda is recruiting through the "tradicional" channels with well established brokers, etc but they don't use FlyGosh for their own recruitment.

Be aware!
Please do not contact flygosh (Andy) neither Avia Integrated (Arif).
I speak with my own experience with them.
Last year I got the contract for sriwijaya (3500h). Paid 28.000usd.
Waiting for 1 year now and nothing happened. Just ignored by the company. they don't recognize us and they don't have our names anywhere. We are more than 100 pilots at home without salary. That guy Andy is so stupid that he is also waiting to start to fly (and maybe he will never start).
This is SCAM. I believe Avia is playing the final cards with the citilink scam.
If we want to enroll to citilink try other broker.
DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS GUYS. SOON THEY WILL BE GONE.
Please PM if you want more info!
