Ryanair contracts

Hi all.

I'm considering applying to Ryanair in a desperate attempt to get my career going. Does anyone have a contract that I could have a look at? What are the current recruits being offered in terms of days on and off, pay (in both ways...), sick leave benefits. PM me if you prefer.

Apparently the new cadets get storm contracts now, which is even 5 euros less per Hour than the previous Brookfield contract. No Benefits, sick leave or holiday pay, just paid per Block Hr.....

Thanks Ronand for your answer. 5 Euros less than what? I don't have asum to begin with. How many days a month do they work? Is it whatever works by Subpart Q or what?

Again, if anyone were willing to show me a contract that would be highly appreciated. I want to know what I'm getting myself into before paying for the application...

Ha Ha Ha ! ! yep, just like it is illegal to pay for your type-rating/uniform/car-parking/I.D badge/ noise infringements/ . . where to stop?

it is not allowed to show contracts to 3rd parties so I doubt anybody will send you a contract....
Just to give you a hint, you will have to pay for everything, Rating, Food, Uniform, Transport, Parking, ID, water.....
On the New rate you will be earning about 50eur/ block hour before tax. YoU can expect to fly arround 500-600 hrs a year in the near future. As the company gets more and more overcrewed with FO's there is actually no need for new FO's but they are keeping the typeratings running as it is a very good income.... The roster in most bases is 5on /3 off with a lot of unpaid standbys, as the place is getting more and more overcrewed....

Ok. I've had these non disclosure paragraphs in previous contracts that I've had but I never thought anyone really took them seriously. Are they actually enforcing these paragraphs? Sounds a bit paranoid to me... What are they afraid of? Unions?

Ah, send him a contract for sake. What do think's gonna happen? Apart from the FBI and the CIA hunting you down of couse. Are Ryanair the new Taliban? They're doing a good job of terrorising you all. Get the contracts and the facts out and hopefully stop any other poor suckers signing up to these swindlers. Aparently O'Leary is sending letters to all his pilots about the terrible, nasty Spanish bullying him and using lies and the weight of the spanish government to try to bring Ryanair down in spain. Well it's about time you got a taste of your own medicine Mr O'Leary. You've been using those tactics for years against the very people who have served you well and helped you get to the top. Now you know how it feels.

You will probably get more from the wannabes forum. Cadets in RYR seem to have an undieing love for the company until they do a year or two then tend to make their way onto this terms and endearment forum....although hopefully their taste of what's to come in the winter schedule will speed the process up!

I wouldn't risk my job over somebody I don't even know. But what I wrote should give him a very good hint what to expect, after joining. I have to say though, when I joined everything was a lot better than it is now for new joiners.... So my contract wouldn't reflect the contract the new joiners are offered now.....

I would re-iterate what Ronand states. The contracts and stipulations within those contracts have varied massively in the last 4 to 6 years. The info relating to what you would be offered today would be best sought from a newbee (preferably one that won't sugar coat it) or a DEC.

The training and experienced received at Ryanair is still a valued commodity amongst other operators. There has been a massive shift of experienced crew to a variety of airlines in the last 24 months or so. In terms of kick starting your career I'd probably be looking at the likes of Qatar, especially as you appear to have commercial experience to offer. Time to command is only going to increase at FR and will probably be on par with the likes of QR in the next few years. A lot of people would probably advise you to leave Ryanair to the 200hr sky gods willing to bum themselves around Europe at the company's wim. It's up to you.

Ok! Payed by the hour, thats understood! But is it any minimum pay att all written in the new brookfield/storm-mcginley contracts? What are they looking for, slaves that work for free? Is it true that you receive no pay during line traning?

But seriously i think it is a reduced block hour payment for line training but not sure of the figure.

You get paid during line training, 40 euros/hr i think.

Have I got this right?Ryanair pay you no basic salary and then flight pay on top?They just pay a set amount for each 'actual' hour you fly? What pay can a new Cadet expect to take home a month?
