Swap from Flydubai to EK not possible?

I heard romours that there is some sort of non competition agreement between them and and Emirates will not invite any Flydubai pilots for interviews even if they have completed their bonding periods. Is there any truth in this?

I have heard of 3 who moved form FD to EK but they recently changed the period from 2 to 3 years before being allowed to move over.

I hear FlyDubai is like Ryanair in the desert... If you like Ryanair and the heat, perhaps FlyDubai is for you.........

EK does not poach from FD before the pilots have 2 or 3 years presence in FD. There might be exceptions to that but that's what I have been told directly from EK recruitment and it makes total sense since FD is an affiliate of EK. When you are thirsty, you don't take the drink from your kid and make him thirsty in turn. You just take it from somewhere else, right? (Ryanair for example).
The policy might change some day. EK might decide to slow down FD and take their pilots but given the growth planned at present at FD (doubling the fleet from 25 to 50 pieces in 3 years) and EK still planning on 2 wide body aircraft per month for many years, I don't see it happen. My 2c...
