Dragonair Pay and Schedules

What is the salary scale for expat DEFO's at Dragonair?

How many days off a month could one expect on average?

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies!

Well the golden days are gone!

No Housing allowance for new joiners anymore.

If you join now you'll be on less than half the other expat FO's.

Thought they we're only recruiting people with HK perm ID card???

I did read that they may turn to hiring expat first officers in the future (4000 hrs +).

Why would they hire expats if the locals cost them half of the cost, but a good rumor anyway

This could be outdated but if you add another 10-15% of the value, it should be close enough :-

Dragon Air

Lifestyle, roster, other allowances etc ...... someone else might be able to answer.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I see from the KA website that they are accepting applications for DEFO. Starting salary at 69000HKD and "allowance" of 20000HKD.

Anyone have more information on this? Hourly pay/Sector pay? Any other extras? Pros/Cons of this company? I take it the allowance is not indexed and housing costs look to be an issue in Hong Kong.

Basically any information anyone can give would be much appreciated, either here or via PM.
