fish Any clue to convert an ATPL into a CPL?

I want to fly for Ryanair but unfortunately I have jet experience. How can I get a CPL out of my ATPL and erase my thousands hours of wide body?

why not re-apply to a flight school and do it all over again?
40-50,000 GBP plus 28,000 euro for the 737 rating, you'll be there in just over a year!!!

What a great idea, I might just do the same!

Perhaps you could ask to take the ATPL exams again and deliberately fail them?

hahahaha thats good

Maybe ask someone in the CAA if they can erase records of your ATPL, don't see anything illegal about that, they might be able to accommodate you.

Then you could just put down 250TT on your app. and that you're willing to SSTR.

It might be tough getting rid of all the knowledge and experience you have, but if you want a shot at Ryanair you will have to figure something out to be competitive.. good luck!

I still have my blue book somewhere in the attic, if you want to borrow it for the selection

Careful though, you would have to mask your experience, competency and your ability to question at the interview.

If they sniff that you might question their overlord right to fleece you of thousands whilst paying you peanuts they might see through your nefarious scheme!
