So that ends this rumor then? Doesn't the AF share in Cityjet mean that this clause has the desired effect?

Depending on how the scope clause is written it may not be as simple as removing some seats. With BACF and the Embraers the scope clause stated 'world fleet average seat number' . That is why BAcf don't have EMB 190's but EMB-190SR's which were a supplementary type certification and no-one else has got any. It may just be a paperwork exercise but just specifying 190's with less than 100 seats would not have been acceptable.

your dead right there the chaos would be unbelievable all decisions would have to be referred to flt ops director all departments are incapable of making a decision i know i was there muppets

No, the scope clause didnt cause any problems however the legal ownership of the two hulls has proved to be a problem. Expext the contract to be complete late January.
