Air Asia screening

Hello, does anyone have any info to offer for Pilots going to the screening at Air Asia? I am looking for information on the Technical Exam, Interview and the Sim ride. Thanks for any assistance.

My interview is early december so anything that you can tell me let me know such as working conditions, pay, health benefits, insurance. Be happy to hear from you.

Unless things have changed recently, the only ex pats allowed are captains, no ex pat FO's...

I'm trying to find that out too, so if anyone has any info on the current ban or when it's to be lifted it would be appreciated.

I appreciatte all info you sent me,since i,m applying for a dec position,
guess screening will be the same or harder! it,s time to begin to brush up
old concepts!!.
On the other hand,it is a pity you had any dificulties in the process,
or i undertood like that,although you look having thoroughly prepare
air asia stuff,i,m sure you,ll succeed really soon!

(i see u come form ireland/ i meet in my training in cae-madrid another irish and a french guy who were going to be hired(low experience) by air asia,Jan 09)

Apparently the work visa/permit is where people are getting stuck.It is taking up to 8-12 months for approval to work as Capt in Malaysia and in that time several are finding work elsewhere......mission accomplished for the authorities who want yokals not expats.
