Pilot job contract in Europe

Hi all.I don't know if this is the right place for this post.
I am looking for law regulating the hire of pilots in europe.
I'd like to know if airline in europe hire pilots with a permanent contract since the beginning or they offer pilots a 1 year contract for example and after that it becomes automatically permanent.
Any link to specific contracts is appreciated.

There is no single european law governing the issue, each country has its own.
There are companies that hire you directly and those which hire you through agencies, there is a big variety in the length of the contracts as well from 3 months to 5 years to permanent.
