AirCalin

Hello,

just wondering if somebody could provide me with any details about AirCalin in Noumea (roster, salary, lifestyle,management),unfortunately there´s not a lot of stuff about this company here. I do not speak french (only basic level), have an JAA licence and rated on A320 and think about to apply if their is any realistic chance. Anybody of you guys has an e-mail address of their HR department?

Would appreciate any details about AirCalin

Thanks

NIK,

Most Aircalin pilots are flying Mix-Fleet
A330 : SYD, AKL, BNE, PPT, MNL, KIX, NRT, ICN
A320 : SYD, AKL, BNE, NAN, WLS, VLI

Extra Hours paid over 75 hours.
Average Monthly hours : between 70 and 80
Days OFF : between 12 and 16
Rosters : A mix of daily return flights and night stops (Japan, Tahiti, Korea)
Salaries : A320 F/O : 4800€ , A330 F/O : 6500€
Lifestyle : Based in Noumea. Perfect if you like sports, beaches and treking; less than 3 hours flight from Sydney, with daily services, if you're more keen on shopping and big cities.
Recruitment : DEFO's either on A320 or A330. Type Rating not necessary. French Passport required for permanent contract as applicants from Air Caledonie, Air Tahiti, French charter carriers, French Navy and French Air Force fill the place.
HR department e-mail adress : by PM

I think your profile perfectly suits Air France requirements. As you are probably aware of, they are advirtising for european experienced A320 pilots.

Hope this helps;

Cheers
M.

well first of all AF has frozen any pilot recruitment because of the tremendous coming crisis.

Nik, does your basic knowledge of french make you realise that "nik" in french means "fu.ck"

@nuageblanc

even if my french is not sufficient and I don´t understand every meaning of each word, there is no reason to make jokes about other people.
I had a simple question and was not looking for silly answers from people like you!

But, because I read in the past a lot of your disrespectful, impolite and childish comments about other companies and people (e.g. Easyjet), I will not take you serious. In my eyes you are only a frustrated person with the attitude of a little boy.Stay there where ever you are,you are only embarrassing!

Now, I ´m finish with you little kid

Fair enough, Nique!

If you are not fluent in french you will not fly in a french company. Try Air berlin or easyjet

Shuuuuuussss, Nique!

Moussaillon is it actually required to have French passport or just European one, are you being serious?

I have New Zealand/UK dual nationality with JAA ATPL, 5000 TT, 2000 hours on A320/330, and the limit of my French is "Bonjour" and "Ca va", would I be completely wasting my time to apply?

Luke,

A friend of mine applied. He was not offered even an interview because of his belgian nationality. French is his first language though. It's not a matter of fluency, it's a matter of supply and demand. Aircalin doesn't feel the need to look for European applicants as the newcomers (between 0 and 5 a year !) will be chosen among hundreds of french resumes.

After all Air New Zealand is not offering positions to foreign nationals unless they hold permanent New Zealand Residency Permit. Is that an issue ? No, that's just the way it is.
