Vueling Click air and Wizzair kicking Easy's ass, yeah right NuageBlanc, better climb back on that cloud and continue daydreaming, you are such a waste of bandwidth.
Please stop confusing your personal gripes against companies that told you to sling your hook with a professional assesment of a likely long term outcome. Seems more likely to me that merging them could more likely result in them all going bust on the same day rather than individually. Might as well merge them with Sky Europe and a few other lame ducks and get it all over and done with.
Any reasonable analysis would suggest that Easy, along with Ryanair and Air Berlin will be the only one's kicking ass in the foreseeable future, shame they don't need your sorry ass to help them do it eh?

ahaha
oh yeah that's for sure man ! I love the way you demonstrate an idea, even better than myself
If you were at Vueling, you would find easyJet bad and being at easyJet you find Vueling Bad ! Vueling+ Wizzair+ Clickair wont kick easyJet's ars because you are at easyJeeeeet

Just wondering why easyJet offers worse contracts in spain compared to the UK, and most of all, I really wonder why easyJet cant grow up in Barcelona and eastern countries...

I am not at Easy Jet, I work in a Blue and Yellow Boeing.
Like I said, better to have no axe to grind and see the reality. Ask some Spanish or even Contract pilots how is the rostering or money in Vueling or Clickair, and you might find that even the diluted terms available on Spanish contracts are considerably better than the two local loco's pay. And look how succesful these companies have been in recent times, not so hot.
Why do Easy pay less than UK contract in Spain ? because they got away with it, because perhaps BALPA took their eye off the ball ,and perhaps some of their UK based brethern thought "I don't want to go there this doesn't affect me, any way they have the sun what more do they want ?"
For their sakes I hope this is not what they think, if it is , they should look at Ryanair to see the eventual outcome, with 1000 different contracts, every one worse than it's predecessor.
Enjoy the debate little Cb/ Cu or whatever you are, but don't let your personal views, biases or dissapointments "cloud" your view of reality.
An ex colleague, now with Easy in MAD, tells me that as soon as new Term is finished in BCN Easy want to open a base, then we will see who kicks ass, unless the Catalan govt do as the French and try to protect their national airlines.

captplastation, dont mention BALPA again please, please ! BALPA has no power outside UK, and if it had, it would then definitaly kill easyjet and ryanair
easyjet has tremendous problems to set up french contracts as well as italian contracts, things will always get worse.
Tell your friend at easymadrid that vueling is opening some new routes to canaries and clickair will probably open soon some new bases in bilbao and madrid. bear in mind that clickair is (Iberia+ air nostrum), and Iberia is interested in spanair to get the monopoly in spain and especially in barcelona. Vueling is managed by a catalan politician, and both company will get easyjet in the orange gauge
Air europa is also about to expand at BCN by the way
I understand easy madrid has some routes with not a good passenger load...at least they should be careful with that.
Remember air france some years ago was about to go bust, and it has now the biggest monopoly.
At last my friend, get out of your crappy low cost, otherwise you may get dead once you reach 65. Give me your CV and I will get you an interview in my company, flying nice CRJs for Air France

Either use the ignore function or just point out to our gallic friend that his CRJ sub-division/franchise/whateveritis will be one of the first things to go when ezy's continual expansion in his country forces Air France to start cost cutting.

Indeed. Troubled times ahead monsieur cloud. If RYR are looking at such a sharp downturn imagine how your little company would cope? Even more reason to fly that CRJ of yours with fuel conservation in mind.

Nobody should be worried for Air France, they have Politics on their side. EU competition laws, well they apply to others but not to Air France. Illegal subsidies...... no problem
It is a protectionist system that does circumvent the law. Same in Italy. Of course protecting national workers jobs is a priority for any government, but it should not be by unfair abuse of competition laws or denying full fifth freedom rights.
Why has no low cost airline ever succeeded in France???
Thats the reason you are safe, not because of what you are but rather who you know. The EU will sit idly as your government protect the Air France monopoly inspite of competition laws.
No disrespect to you or company NUAGEBLANC, but it isn't an even playing field.

Guillaume, what you are trying to tell us is rather strange.
I thought they had put an end to slavery long time ago... and it still reigns in France
Or is prostitution a better word for your activity (e.g. working at rebate rates for a major)?
live 2 fly 2 live

My rosbif friend F4F, you think about so many things but you often seem to be so far away from the reality
I did not have to pay anything for my type rating (no TRSS things), I have never been payed 90% of my salary when I joined my company, I dont work like a low cost carrier pilot, and I make as much monney (probably more) than you at easyjet, I have free meals, free cold and hot drinks, I have all AIR FRANCE staff tickets, I have a good pension schem (not 7% crappy thing or whatsoever), and my company have seniority so I dont see direct entry guys taking my place every month.
Just improve your french and come and join us
