Best Expat Life Insurance

I'm looking to buy extra life insurance, as well as loss of income insurance and perhaps health as well.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance firm that has experience dealing with expat pilots?

Ciao,

JM

No current recommendations I'm afraid, but you have chosen a wickedly clever nickname!

Jack

PS But have a look in the "Similar Threads" at the foot of the page.

Cool Insurance

Johnny-Check your PMs-you will be dealing with bigger crooks than Enron and Conrad Black together but it can be done.

Don't know where you are from... but if you are from the US the AOPA has a very good insurance department to cover life, health, and disability.

Thanks for the PMs I received.

It's not looking good on the insurance front.

I have a better chance of being killed by a taxi driver, but for some reason the term "pilot" and "expat" seem to conjure up images of Indiana Jones or something in the minds of the insurance underwriters.

I know the feeling: try adding 'offshore helicopter pilot' and 'Nigeria' into the equation

Cool Insurance

212 Man -that really made me laugh!

I thought I had it bad as expat pilot of airliner in the eyes of the spineless risk averse insurance mafia-but I guess you really take the cake with the actuarial world.

Flying helos is demanding they dont realise that-and in Nigeria well Ive done Lagos on a fixed runway so I can only imagine offshore ops!!

Good luck, safe flying to you and Merry Xmas,

IC
