Donīt even get us started. Thatīs over and done with.
If you ask a former CRX pilot still with Swiss(Air) you are not gonna get an honest answer. Most of those guy would take any job just to stay in Switzerland.
The ones that had to leave or were smart enough to leave donīt have anything good to say about the mafia methods applied afterwards.
In this case, YES, you can honestly say, THE GRASS IS GREENER outside Swiss

of course you will have at least 2 versions depending if you were/are from exSWR or ex CRX and the story inside the company is not completely over. Most probably in a decade or so there will be no more difference about which company you were?!you can maybe in a way compare with the merger between the banks SBS/UBS well before.
wait and see.

well well, there are also neutral facts:
Swiss Air never existed, it was called Swissair. Swissair Lines was taken over by Crossair by means of a reversel take-over (look it up in Wikipedia), with the money of state and private sources, mainly Swiss and Zurich Government, plus the two big banks.
The name Crossair was changed into Swiss, more correct Swiss International Airlines.
After a few years of deficits, Swiss was sold to Lufthansa, and now is a 100% daughter of it. Since then its making profit.

to dani:
not complete.indeed it is the entire Sairgroup(swr, crx, sabena, ltu, aom, air liberte etc..) which went bankruptcy with a debt of 17 swiss billion francs and the main actor there was Swissair and its management, mainly Bruggisser.but the story is long...

I didn't say it's complete, I merely stated the facts. The more you go into details, the more you are based on opinions and rumours.
EjetSetter:
There are two different contracts. Former Crossair-pilots have more or less the same contract they had during the end of Crossair. The newer guys have considerable lower pay, but got some benefits now, to attract more people.

Hoi Dani
more or less is good!!!
The salaryscale is the same but stretched to 28 years isnt it??
At Crossair was overtimepay, now is nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But oooohhhpppsss a little bonus for the jumbolinipilots, and only for them, the aeropers and kapersslaves rejected the bonus because it was tied up with some extension of working contract and just a little bit more work and less off
and is that true youre on the magenta ones???

We had overtime pay in Crx? I don't remember anymore. The actual salary list goes 14 years or so, then it ends, isn't it?
Yeap, flying the magenta ones, except that they are not (all) magenta anymore.

I thought the company was called SWISSLUFT !!!???
I know 2-3 persons who have left the company. now it is tough to work in this company, 4 sectors a day, no biding list, no days off,....
like a low cost! work, work,work,... if you are not happy, you can go somewhere else.

SWISS = So What It's Still Swissair
I was offered a position on the Avro in April but said no for a number of reasons. Anyway, I think that it would have been nice in some ways but a career killer in other ways. Leaving Switzerland for the past 4 years has been very educational and coming back for the so-called "assessment" (Selektion.....) was very nice. The people (all ex-Swissair) were very friendly and I didn't detect the kind of arrogance that used to exist. On the contrary. It was actually quite pleasant.
It is time, though, for there to be total equity among the pilots of the two former companies. End of story. Equal opportunity for all.

Have you heard that ALL employees WILL get a bonus, regardless if they signed or not the CLA's extention??? Once again the pilotinos (former CRX) got f.... by their own union But this cannot be a real union but merly management pupppets
History repeats itself again and again...
Good to see that from outside now

Instead of being a bit clever and give a big NO to all that money LX offered to cement the conditions in place right now, the ex-CRX guys seemed to be very happy with this handsel... Nobody likes to work according the current CLAs, neither SWU or SWR. So why prolong this insult for another 3 years...?
And that LX will have to pay a bonus for everbody by the end of year, with or without the GBM, was quite obvious beforehand, wasn`t it? Could you imagine the headlines? "LX profit beyond wildest dreams, but no bonus!"
Sorry mate: this time our colleagues bit into their own buts, or at least they should do so now...
Merry xmas to all of you!
