Easyjet ????
Hello guys...
I was wondering if anybody else is in the same situation as me...I have applied for a position as Easyjet DEP (SFO) about 1 year ago, have received an email saying that my cv has passed an initial screeening and that I will be called in for interview when available dates arise, but up to now still silence (1 year!!
)...
What's happening? Any info's or any company email address to ask for info's?
Thank you very much for your replies.

Easyjet is also over crewed for the winter period, particularly with FOs. Part-time and unpaid leave have been offered to those who want it so expect things to be quiet for a few months until the crewing levels for next summer are worked out.

Another factor is the recent acquisition of 200 GB Airways pilots plus their aircraft who will be integrated over the course of 2008. As others say, there is very little attrition at the moment and therefore not much movement. There will be no DECs for the immediate future and the last figure I saw was an anticipated recruitement of 94 pilots for 2008 (above all the GB pilots). That figure is set to increase dramatically in 2009 to around 500 pilots. Obviously, as past events have shown, there is a lot of water to go under the bridge and those figures cannot be guaranteed. Probably not the answer you wanted but that is the way it is! Best of luck.

We'll all be checking out each other! By the time you boys fully integrate next November you will be fully operating to easyJet SOPs. After that we will all operate interchangeably and no division will exist between easyJet and GB crews. Eastyjet Trainers will train/check the old GB crews and vice versa. Should be great!
