Post Good News For BWA?

The receivers Kroll Buchler Phillips have announced that they are in negotiations with over 40 potential buyers who have come forward.

Reported on BBC CeeFax Local news (Eastern Counties)

Hopefully, something will come out if this.

Euroboy - presume you mean the subsidiary - World Aviation Support..... I cant imagine 40 offers being received for the BAC 1-11's which are BWA's only 'assets'

I would guess that the likes of Heavylift, FR Aviation, FLS etc would be interested in the WAS workshops.

Hey Dan, strange place for this to live.

I understand that the BAC111's are actually owned by the bank....which doesn't leave much on the airline side to buy.

The maintenance side , I would have thought, is worth having as a going concern.

Think this one's a bit out of date. .. .The assets, for what they are worth, of British World Airlines were purchased from Kroll's and a new company BWA (2002) Ltd formed.. .. .Inflite purchased WAS the other week.. .. .As for the poor old 1-11's, they are still kicking around at SEN. It's like an aircraft graveyard at times. anyone want a Koda Air 707
