This might be Transjet, not sure about the 757 part though. Rumour has they will be operating a few UK charters this summer.

Wink

If anyone can confirm the bases on offer then I may be able to help. GLASGOW should be receiving a new charter carrier this season using the B757, and would most likely be Swedish registered considering the ownership.

cheers,

Will they take American pilots, or is it the same ol stuff? Euro pilots can come and work in the US but Euro will have nothing to do with us. Sounds fair, doesn't it?

Euro pilots can work in the U.S.? You obviously walked into a reality distortion field, man! If you know something we don't, please let us know! As far as I know, Europeans are no more elegible for U.S. work permits than anybody else. In fact, I would say it must be easier for Americans to work in the EU than the other way around.

Can you say green card????? Also, why won't Euro nations accept an FAA ATP? I'd say we're very qualified especially having the busiest air traffic in the world.

We can all say "green card," getting one is totally another thing. I dont think the US has issued a green card to a foreign national on the basis of his/her application to be employed as a pilot. Not in living memory if ever. The other way across the pond is conceivable. The FAA will not validate a euro license beyond ppl, but many JAA authorities will validate an FAA atp, usually if expeience levels are appropriate and a propective employer petitions.

You don't need a Green Card - an L1 Visa will do. I flew wide-bodies out of JFK for a US Carrier for 3 years. First get your L1 Visa!

When I used to dispatch those N reg Electras and 727's on behalf of DHL with their American crews I must have dreamt it. Funny thing was I got paid for it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> . .. .Now let's dream about a night with Claudia <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> (I'll pay her)
