Worked 2 days so far this month.. .Rostered for 12 days off per month, but sitting reserve at home. If I want a beer, call crew schedule in the afternoon and get released. Works every time.. .. .If they call me with a flight, and I feel lazy that day (Like most days), can pass the flight down to a more junior guy also on reserve.. .. .Get paid 70 hours per month for sitting home and drinking beer.. .Quite possbile the worlds best job.. .. .(B-757/767 F/O)

US Airways, USA (recently furloughed):. .. .Guaranteed 11 days off per month -- as junior reserve, usually significantly more than that (believe it or not).. .. .18 vacation days (in my third year of employment) -- started at 16 vacation days per annum as a new-hire, and maximum 40 vacation days per annum (at 25 years of service).

6 days on. 4 off, and with a little bit of leave carried over, I'm off for 196 days this year, only working for 169. Even with no leave carried over, I'd be off for 183, working 182.
Now if only I could find a way to work all those days in a stretch, I could go on a proper holiday!

Austrian:
9 days a month, 31 per quarter, 126 a year (minimum). Up to five days a month can be requested by date, also consecutively.
Currently 35 days leave a year, after 15 years it increases to 42 days. Not bad...

Qantas - B744
This roster (56 days) was reserve (min 8 hours notice for duty, must be contactable for two hours in the morning and evening, otherwise phone can be off). No standbys (able to leave home within 1 hour). 45 days off, 1 trip and 2 sims.
Last roster was 4 trips with 30 days off.
And they pay me, unreal.

116 per year, will be 120 from 2003
29/28/26/29 per quarter
9 per month in 1st and 4th quarter
8 per month in 2nd and 3rd quarter
25 days vacation (30 after 20 years of service)
(OPEN CLB, aren't your Austrian Airlines numbers valid for 2002 only, d/t savings package? Your vacation figures don't seem to account for the fact that weekends spent on vacation are prorated towards the off-days allotment.)

The number of off days are for the current situation (97,5%)
A week of vacation reduces the minimum off days a month by two. So this month, with three weeks of vacation, my minimum days off were reduced to three days. (I actually had four, all placed consecutively before the vacation
