Will Flybe take FAA licenses?
I will be moving to the UK from the US and have a bachelor's degree in flight...I have FAA CPL/IR/ME/CFI and about 500 hours. Not sure if I stand a chance, but I thought I'd ask.
It seems like if I need to convert my CFI over to UK or JAA, I may as well get the ATPL. Not sure if I'm prepared to spend much more on training, though.

T & C's for DEC
Despite some negative posting (the grass is a different shade for different people), FlyBE look like a good option to me, rapidly coming to the end of my time flying a fully grown, but aged, turboprop owned by Her Majesty. However, it is very diificult trying to find out any hard facts about T & Cs; e.g. roster patterns, hours, leave, basing (I'm looking to settle Exeter way), etc. Any info would be very much appreciated.
Also, as a current (Military) TRI/TRE (not JAR as yet), with 3500+ hrs, would a fast track to instructing be likely/possible?

The bounty is a payment made by the company (after many hoops have been jumped through) to employees who introduce a successful candidate for command/training positions. It is either £2K or £4K depending upon the candidates qualifications - 50% now, 50% after one year employment. Basically the company are desperate for skippers.
You will be bonded, and no payment required by yourself up front at all.

Got my word back on the new salary, much better than the starting FO salary. If you've got some time and you're starting with these guys, talk your pay up! See ya in Farn this summer.
